For well over a decade, Eric D. Mills has distinguished himself as one of the leading personal injury lawyers in Montana, championing all types of personal injury cases including automobile accidents, construction accidents, premises liability, negligent security injuries, wrongful death and medical malpractice, along with employment discrimination and wrongful termination. He forces insurance companies to pay millions to his clients every year to help them get back on their feet after an injury or after the death of a loved one.

Eric Mills is a native of Great Falls, graduating from Great Falls High School in 1999. After graduating from the University of Montana School of Law in 2008, Eric worked as a personal injury attorney in Missoula. In 2011 Eric decided to move back home to Great Falls and began working as an attorney for insurance companies defending workers compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. Not satisfied with representing the insurance companies and wanting to see more accountability for the product they are paid to provide clients, Eric left the service of the large insurance conglomerates and began to operate a firm that would become 406 Attorneys.

Eric’s passion is helping clients with their disputes, fighting for them during some of the most tumultuous and emotional times in their lives and helping them calmly navigate their uncertain post-injury future. Eric is deeply committed to the Great Falls community and his neighbors.  He understands that value in a life isn’t from how much money is made or the value of possessions. The real value is in people’s experiences, connection to their family and friends and in their passions. This is a message Eric forces on the insurance companies whose goal it is to pay you less and devalue your life.  He has been involved in the local Rotary, on the board of directors for the Children’s Receiving Home and volunteered his time at the local schools, including as a substitute teacher. Eric has three children, Ethan, Oliver and Malcolm with his wife, Irina, who is a teacher for Great Falls Public Schools. When not working, Eric can be found running, hiking, hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and finding new places to explore in Montana with his family.
